Collection consists of personal letters of Richardson and his wife, who, together, conducted a school in Wilson. One letter, comments on patent medicines and the proposed annexation of the Hawaiian Islands; another concerns the sale of turpentine in Wilmington, N.C. Included also is a printed circular concerning the school.
